Wow, really? I remember thinking to myself, “Summer will be here soon. Just hang in there.” and then poof! It’s summer! I must say, we’ve already had some big fun. No traveling involved (yet), just big fun around the neighborhood.
First, Hailey graduated from preschool…again. I swear, this is the last time. She starts kindergarten this FALL! What!?!?

I’ve been telling everyone that she was giving the “Rock” sign…apparently, that is the “Love” sign too. Whodathunkit?
What’s next on the list, hmmm. Oh! We have been strolling through the neighborhood a lot lately and finally made acquaintances with our neighborhood horse. This is something we’ve always wanted to do, so, yay! Hailey is ecstatic. We now know her “real” name and that only the top part of the fence is electric, not the entire thing. So, we can go up and pet her and feed her grass and carrots.

Hailey feeding “Zoey” some grass. A neighbor told us her name is Zoey. We’ve always called her “Lovey”. We still call her Lovey, because that’s what we like to call her.
In May, we played on the balcony a lot. We did that until the wasps started hanging around.

Just recently, we discovered the wasps nest, under the table that Teagan turned into the “extra” sandbox (see above photo). The man of the house took care of the nest but they’re still floating around out there. I would love to put up some kind of netting around the balcony so we could still enjoy it.
Later in the month of May, we witnessed my sister-in-law’s lovely wedding ceremony. It was “perfect” in every way.

That pretty much brings us to June and the heat. The heat is on. And so is the sprinkler and the kiddie pool and soon…the slip n slide.

Not today! It’s like a lake in our backyard…
I love every one of these post’s Amy. Especially the pool. The girl’s really have to like that.
