…we will be aboard our plane to a tropical island.  It’s been EIGHT YEARS since I’ve said that.

Let’s just say that today wasn’t as smooth of a day as I had hoped.

I ended up taking the big sister to Urgent Care.  She wasn’t feeling all that well during the day and then complained about being in and out of the bathroom and how it “hurt” when she tried to go.  Oh great.  Of course, my first thought was that she had a urinary tract infection.  This was around 5:30 pm.

Fast forward two and a half hours later and we’re home from Urgent Care with two prescriptions and a couple of unpacked suitcases.  Her strep test came back negative (the back of her throat was red, so they tested).

Uggggghhhhhh.

I just hope that this UTI is not a bad one and doesn’t turn into anything worse.  I want us all to have a fun trip without any major blips.  I’m going to be worried sick about Hailey until I know she’s in the clear.
