About five years ago, we met our friends at the zoo. Ok, so maybe I exaggerated a little. It wasn’t really five years ago, it was about two weeks ago. I was just looking through the pictures that I took that day and they made me happy. I love when Hailey has a friend to hang out with and that day, she got to hang out with her buddy, Grayson (one of her four).
Anything goes when you get together two independent little four and a half year olds (or so I’m learning).
We saw these monkeys. How freaking cute is he (or she)? I think it would be disturbing if I found out this one was a female. I mean, look at that beard. There was another one sitting in the back, I couldn’t get a good picture but he looked like an accountant. He might as well have been back there wearing a visor, smoking a cigarette and pounding away on his electronic calculator. Maybe you had to be there but the mental image I have of this monkey is still really funny. Thanks for that, Steph.
We also saw Ivy dance in her squeaky shoes. How freaking cute is she?

It has been decided that I should have a Meerkat for a pet. My four year old would agree. My husband would not. I say, they’re not big, so what’s the problem?
So, it was a good day. A fun visit to the zoo with fun friends.
…but not the hippopotamus…
