Hailey is on her way to her first big baseball game – the Chicago Cubs vs. the Houston Astros.
I’m excited for her to see Wrigley Field from the inside. It truly is one of the coolest ball parks.
I’m also excited for her to feel the thrill of being in the crowd and eating a hot dog and some peanuts, too.
This morning, Eric illustrated the game of baseball for her by using Sponge Bob and Mr. Potato Head. He explained it so well that she was able to draw a ball park with a crowd and baseball players. I’ll scan a copy of that later.
I’m sure she’s going to have a blast. I did pack her Nintendo DS just in case she gets bored watching the game.
