I know I should be out there with them.
But sometimes, I just like to watch them together.
It’s funny. I don’t realize it at first but after staring at them for some time, I catch myself smiling.
Because I know a little bit about time spent with your daddy.
So, I want this for them.
Plus, I kind of feel all cool, like a private eye when I hide behind the wall inside and snap pictures of them unknowingly out there. Just living and enjoying each other. Having big, special moments together.
That’s what it’s all about.
I’m so glad that I waited to post today.

Day 14 – NaBloPoMo
So cute, Amy. They are getting so big! One is 41/2 and the other is mobile. Can you believe it? It seems like all these kids were just born….Even crazier…it seems like we were just playing tag in the back yard! Life is good!
What sweet moments you’ve captured! I’m an overzealous photographer and sometimes I—quite unintentionally—interrupt the big moments. What a great idea to snap from afar!
Soooo sweet! My dad got his guitar and played it for us often. Mostly at bedtime. But oh the happy memories!
I like seeing Eric sitting there with those two little girl’s just playing his guitar for them. That’s so sweet. I hope he was playing “You Are My Sunshine” to them. He probably wasn’t, but I like to think he was anyway. lol
I know how you feel — I want to be there too when they are spending time with daddy, but I also know how important it is for the kids to have their private time with daddy and special bonding time — especially for the daughters to have time with their dad!
