Hailey has a friend visiting. His name is Flat Stanley. Stanley is only staying for a couple of days before he heads off on another adventure. Hailey doesn’t know where he’s going yet but we caught him involved in a video chat earlier today that sort of gives it away:

He decided to relax on the couch a little bit after his video chat:

We invited him to have dinner with us and the only open seat was the baby’s highchair, so he took it.

Hailey was nice enough to offer him some of her carrot cake.

There must have been a lot of sugar in the cake because Stanley ended up swinging from the chandelier:

We helped him down and then he decided to catch some of the Super Bowl.  He was hoping the Colts would win.

Since he was still on a bit of a sugar-high, he played some hide-n-seek with Hailey.  Here he is counting while Hailey hid.

He looked around the house and finally found her hiding under the table.

Then, it was Stanley’s turn to hide.  He picked a super good hiding spot.

It didn’t take her long to find him though.  If I were him, I would have hidden under the rug.

It’s been fun hanging out with Stanley.  He leaves tomorrow for his next adventure.  We’ll keep you posted as to where he ends up.
