Winter dropped by overnight and by the looks of the forecast, will be sticking around for the rest of this week.
Hailey has been waiting and waiting for it to snow. She thinks that when it snows, that means it’s Christmas. I suppose she’s not far off. We’ve been doing our best trying to explain to her that we have a little bit of time (18 days to be exact) before Christmas day. I have been busy trying to find things for her to do to pass the time until the big day arrives. She LOVES Christmas this year…and so do I.
I posted about a couple of projects that we’ve been working on over at ParentSphere. This year is all about crafty things. Today, we’re going to work on snowmen, of the cotton ball type. She desperately wants to go out and build a snowman but the snow that’s on the ground right now is not quite the right snowman-building snow and there’s really not enough of it laying around.
Last year, I wasn’t feeling well enough to do many fun outdoorsy, winter things (morning sickness and so tired). This year, I plan on making up for that. I’ll be right out there with her building that snowman.
