So it’s International Babywearing Week and I finally have a baby that allows me to participate! Honestly, wearing Teagan has come in so handy for me. I even wrote about how I planned on wearing my next baby in this old post about babywearing over at ParentSphere.
It’s been so great having my hands free to do things around the house. I can confidently hold Hailey’s hand while crossing the road and not worry about my baby slipping out of my arms. Working at home is a struggle with a fussy 2-1/2 month old, so I have to wear her, otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to do my job. Also, when I pick up Hailey from preschool, I don’t have to lug the carseat out of the car and into the building to get her. Wearing Teagan leaves my hands free to open and close the door, hold Hailey’s “stuff” in one hand and hold her hand with the other one. These are just a few reasons why I’m really loving the babywearing.
Here is Teagan peacefully sleeping in my Baby Love Slings ring sling while I’m working:

This is our newest family photo. I’m wearing Teagan in our Baby Bjorn carrier:

Must. have. hands. free. for. iPhone.
Stephanie over at Adventures in Babywearing is hosting a fabulous babywearing contest this week where you can test out and win some pretty glorious slings. Check it out.
