This month has come and gone so quickly. Can’t say I’m all that disappointed, to be honest. Lord knows I’m anxious for July to get here and to hold my new baby. You know, I do love oohing and ahhing over other’s babies but, dammit, I FINALLY get to ooh and ahh over my own again! I am admittedly ecstatic over this. I get to stare for endless hours at my very own new baby, just like I did with the bug when she was born. You know what they say, “It’s nice to give the baby back to his/her parents”. Well, this mama doesn’t mind taking the baby home at all. Bring it on!

So, May was a pleasant month. We had lots to do to keep us busy. From weddings to a visit to the American Girl Place in Chicago, I have lots of posting to catch up on. I have spent most of May trying to keep relaxed and calm and protective of the new little girl in my womb. Our hopes are that she hangs out in her own little pad until July…any time in July. Just not before. I see the Perinatologist on Monday, so that should answer some questions for us, as I am just about 32 weeks into the pregnancy and now was about the time I went into preterm labor with Hailey. Here’s hoping we get a good report.
