Finally, after all these years of living near some cool little family attractions, we made it over to Blackberry Farm. Yet another local “park” worth spending a few hours, milling about. There are a lot of really old things to see and learn about there. They have a ton of old wagons and cars and even an old schoolhouse. Hailey had to run inside and sit at one of the old desks.

Then, she took her very first pony ride, on a pony named “Apple”. She instantly fell in love with Apple. She wasn’t afraid to ride him (or her?) at all. As a matter of fact, she rode him twice.

After her pony ride, we took a ride on a train around the farm.

Halfway through the train ride, we got off and took a short wagon ride. Then got back onto the train, which took us back to where we began. We then rode on the longest carousel ride that I have ever been on. I didn’t think it would ever end. I’m sure Hailey thought that rocked.

We walked around for a bit, which resulted in me having super swollen feet by the time we got home. There were animals there and a fake cow that you could “milk”.

It’s a cute little place and we’ll definitely go back at some point. Hailey’s favorite part was riding Apple. At least, that’s what she kept telling everyone.

Just fyi apple is a girl pony :) i was looking online for pictures of the ponies and i ended up on this website.
