Easter morning was pretty cute this year. “Pete” left an egg right outside of the bug’s bedroom door, so when she opened her door to pay her usual daily visit to us around 6:30 am, she saw the egg. It was awesome to hear the excitement in her voice when she opened her door to find that plastic egg.
She raced into our room to tell us about the egg and coaxed us to come downstairs with her. She found eggs as she made her way down the stairs. She could barely hold all of the eggs in her little arms as she made her way around the house finding all of the hidden ones.
Then, she found her Easter basket:
She informed us just the other day when offered jelly beans that they have “too much sugar” and she turned them down. Wow, if only we could keep on THIS track!
Wow! I’m impressed by her “too much sugar” comment. Our 2-year-old daughter was gobbling up the jelly beans in her eggs as fast as she could get them in her mouth. ;)
