We’ve struggled until now trying to get the bug to sit on the potty. Now, as of two days ago, we’re struggling to get her off of the potty. She’s afraid that she’s going to have an accident, so she insists on sitting there. We’re trying tons of positive reinforcement and telling her it’s ok if she has an accident, that we’re here to help and she’s not going to get in trouble.
See how sensitive kids are about this? Maybe it’s not supposed to be but for some, potty training is difficult enough as it is without others trying to tell you how or when it’s supposed to be done.
I’m just sayin’.
That’s so cute, she doesn’t want to mess her new panties.
Preach it sista! They do it when they are ready. There is no technique or gadget that will move this process along. People are still always looking for suggestions or advice.

Still really can’t get J5 on the potty, though I did get him to sit on it this morning for about 2 minutes ’cause I was already in there and he wanted me to read a book to him.
