Ok, so where was I?

Seriously. Where was I?

I’m still getting back into the swing of things after being away from home and “normalcy” (I think they call it that) for a week and a half. In case you haven’t been following, I have been (ok, I just started) blogging about my trip to San Francisco to the BlogHer Conference over at my new site (you know what? I don’t want to hear it. YES, I have ANOTHER blog!). I have a couple more posts to put up over there about the conference but in a nutshell, I had a really good time.

My week spent in Albuquerque was for job training for my new job with GreatAupair. It was a week filled with lots of learning but I did also have a chance to get out and do some exploring while I was there. Update on that soon.

I missed my family terribly while I was gone. What can I say? I generally don’t feel the need to get away from them. I’d much rather have them with me. I’ve been doing an awful lot of traveling this year and each time I go away, the more I wish I was with them. I don’t have any more trips planned away from the family in the near future…yet, anyway.

So, I have this really cute video that I need to post of me and Grover. I spent a lot of time in the Sesame Street Suite at the BlogHer Conference, hanging out with Abby Cadabby (check out the video below) and had a “professional” video done with Grover where I was dishing out some serious sass. Ahhh, it was all in good fun.

Anyway, it’s good to be home and getting into a normal routine again. The bug has been super sweet lately and the attitude has calmed down, somewhat. Now, we’re just into the fake, dramatic whining and crying. Should I call in the acting coach now or later?

Will be back soon with new pictures and updates!

  1. You are super busy ~ I am impressed you have time to have yet another blog (which looks great)! New Mexico is beautiful. Emma and Payton watched the video you sent to your little one. They loved it and watched it … a lot. If you get any tips about cutting out ‘tude from two year olds, please pass it on!

  2. Adventures In Babywearing

I’m glad you’re home and safe!! And I hope you’re getting some rest, girl!Steph

  3. LOVED the ABby Cadabby bit. You were very animated with her and I’m glad she straightened you out about the differences between fairies and pixies. We can’t go around confusing the two.

  4. what did hailey think of the abby video? i want to see grover! we luv him.

  5. I am soo jealous you met Grover. You have no idea how big a fan I am of him. Ever since Elmo joined the picture poor grover has taken the backseat. I LOVE GROVER!!!
