The bug has been saying and doing some RIDICULOUSLY adorable things over the past few days. As a matter of fact, right this moment, she is in her room and we are listening to her on the monitor. The thunder is rumbling outside and she is asking it to “stop”. She just said, “Thunder, I’m giving you a time out, ok?” She’s talking about the “timer” that we use. She mentioned to the thunder that it would be in a time out for “3 minutes”. *BITE* *BITE* *BITE* – I just want to go up there and BITE her!
She’s also lately been pretending to be “the parent”. When we reach the lower level of our house, she asks me to “sit on the step and we’ll put your shoes on, mommy”. The other day, we were in the car and a band we listen to came on shuffle. A random song by the band was playing and from the backseat we heard, “I want ghost in my house song!” Eric and I both shared a look and realized that she recognized the band that was on and that they sing the “ghost in my house” song (Band of Horses). We were amazed to say the least.
She now gets in and out of the car BY HERSELF. She INSISTS on climbing up into her car seat on her own. Today, she asked if she could buckle herself in. Of course, I assisted. Where is my baby going? She is turning into quite the independent “child”.
Yep, things just keep getting more interesting and entertaining by the day!

I think she & Gray would be great little playmates!Steph
OMG! Too cute, I love it! Why can’t you live in RI!?:)Best,Audrey
She sounds very much like my 2-year-old! I’m constantly being told to ‘do this’ or ‘mommy’s turn’, LOL :)
