The subject line is a play on the album title of one of my favorite bands. Can ya guess who? Two points if you can guess…

I started out the morning a little teary-eyed, saying goodbye to the hubs and the bug. She said she wanted to come “wif” me on the airplane. I would have taken her in a heartbeat, believe me. Hopefully she will get to fly on an airplane in the not so distant future.

I am currently sitting on my comfy bed at the swanky Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick. I boarded my flight around 9:15ish this morning and had a pretty uneventful flight. Little bouncy here and there but for the most part, smooth sailing…or is it smooth flying in this case? Anyway…

I was able to catch a glimpse of NYC from a distance, which just made my day. I haven’t seen NYC in so long. Even the view from the plane of the skyline made me giddy (click it to make it bigger).

A nice gentleman from GM chauffeured me from the airport to my hotel. He was much better company than the driver from home to the airport this morning. That guy was chomping his gum so loud I thought my eardrums were going to burst.

I checked into the hotel, met Lori Dolginoff (organizer/planner of JnJ Camp Baby) briefly and made it up to my room. This hotel is so my taste, very modern and quite upscale (the very modern part is my taste). In the above picture you can see the bed in which I am perched upon as I type. Oh, that bag on the end of the bed is full of awesome Neutrogena goodies. I will have to check my luggage for the return flight home…’cuz ain’t no way I’m leaving any of this stuff behind!

I’m up here on the ninth floor and here is my view of New Brunswick. Pretty. Kind of reminds me of my hometown in PA:

I must put on my name tag, which identifies me as the “blooging mama”, however, I consider myself to be more of a “blogging mama” rather than a “blooging mama”. Ah well, can’t have it all, right?

I’m off to iron wrinkly luggage-packed clothes and hobnob a little before our welcome ceremony.
