…an entire month ago. Wow, I’m behind.

We really loved Minneapolis! Our very dear friends moved there, just after the bug’s first birthday. I can’t believe it’s been this long since we’ve seen them! These are the kind of friends that when you’re sitting at home on a weekend night listening to music and drinking red wine, you say, “I wish so and so were around”. We have always enjoyed their company and miss it so much now that they’re hundreds of miles away.

As soon as we arrived, Hailey and GG were attached at the hip. They ran straight upstairs and started playing. (Awww!) To think the last time they saw each other, Hailey was just starting to walk!

We listened to good music, enjoyed some spirits and talked and laughed a lot. The catching up and this trip was very much needed!

Here they are playing computer games…soon enough they’ll be comparing notes on boys…argh!

We romped around town for an afternoon, went to a record store and enjoyed “Happy Hour”…a REAL happy hour – cuz that’s how they throw it down Minneapolis style.

High fives and goodbyes, which made me extremely sad.

We know we won’t wait as long again to visit our good friends; friends who are like family to us.
