Before I forget to post about this, I took Hailey to see Horton Hears a Who last week. She LOVED it. Came straight home and named her Schleich elephant, Horton.
I have actually never read the book but plan on getting it very soon. It was such a cute story and I highly recommend bringing your little ones to see it. The animation is so smooth and everything seems so rounded (if that makes any sense) and colorful. Maybe it’s because Horton is such a big, blubbery elephant. At any rate, I really thought it was an excellent movie for kids.

Here are Hailey and Violet with their tickets, getting ready to go in to see their very first movie on the “big screen”.
Now Hailey gets angry with me when I call her “Hailey Who”, because there is in fact, a Hailey Who. She is one of the mayor’s 96 children.

She quickly corrects me with, “Naaaaa, I nowt Hailey Who! I’m HAILEY“. Lately, she’s even been throwing her middle and last name in there. I suppose it’s good that there is no confusion with her identity.

Oh, it’s a great book! We haven’t seen the movie yet, tho! My very favorite Seuss book is Horton Hatches The Egg!Steph
Love the book. We’ve seen it as part of Seussical the Musical, too. Typical brilliant message from Dr. Seuss: A person’s a person, no matter how small (or what color, or religion, or nationality, etc.)
I like Horton Hatches the Egg better, so check that one out too.
