…or is it a “woot woot”? I don’t know but at any rate, can I get one of those because it’s the LAST DAY OF JANUARY!

I don’t know about ya’ll but my January has gone by pretty quickly and usually I feel like winter is just draaaaaagging on. This year for some reason, I can see the end of the cold months in sight. Come on, we can do this! There’s really only TWO MORE MONTHS OF THIS.

Ah, who am I trying to kid. The dead of winter sucks especially when you can’t get your furnace to heat your house more than 67 degrees. Service technician to the rescue tomorrow. I think I can manage to get through the evening if I wear socks to bed (Yikes! Socks to bed???) and a sweatshirt. We’ve managed to keep the bug’s room fairly warm, so no worries there.

I’m somewhat excited tonight because we started our tax filing process and we’re getting money back! WOOT! WOOT! I figured we would because we’re POOR. I can think of many, many fun things I’d like to purchase with the refund but alas, it will all go toward the bills.

Such is life.

ANYWAY, enjoy your last day of January! Phil will be out this weekend to let us all know that spring will arrive early. =)

PS: My mom’s surgery went well but she’s in a lot of pain. My brother is dealing with some health issues too and has surgery coming up on Tuesday next week. Please keep them in your thoughts and any well wishes would be much appreciated!
