It was fun to have some help from my tiny little baker this year. We made walnut tarts together and the tart press ended up becoming a musical instrument of some sort instead of a tart press. When we were finished, Hailey did the taste-testing and I gather from the “I want more” phrase that kept coming out of her mouth that we did a good job.
