I was cordially invited to the first ever annual cookie exchange at my good friend Kerry’s house. I was thrilled when I received the invitation because I have never been to a cookie exchange. There were specific rules that we had to follow regarding cookie baking and holiday attire was encouraged. Ok, I can dig that!

We all arrived and set out our cookies. The table of sweets looked delish! We had quite the variety to choose from. Kerry also had appetizers going and the air was filled with holiday spirit. After we downed a couple few pomegranate martinis, we gathered our plates of yummy food and sat around the living room, telling stories of past and present holiday traditions.

I really enjoyed myself and had a blast with the other ladies in attendance. I am looking forward to the Annual Cookie Exchange every year! Wherever we may be, I hope I am always able to make it to this fun tradition.
