I took Hails to the zoo this morning. Tuesdays and Thursdays are free days at the Brookfield Zoo. We decided to take the train as well. It was .50 cents less than parking at the zoo. Saved on wear and tear on the car. Nice. Although, spent $15.50 on “snacks” before we left. Hailey was covered in Dippin’ Dots and I had cheese (?) all over me because we were walking and eating a soft pretzel and the wind was whipping. Double nice.

The zoo rocked. Best time I’ve ever had at a zoo. Hailey was awesome. She was very attentive to the animals. It was just me and her. I loved it. We took our time and went where we wanted to go. I took more pictures of the animals too. I have so many zoo animal pictures. I’m going to set aside some time to make a zoo slideshow for Hails. (Picture me rolling on the floor belly laughing right now because I don’t have time to “set aside”). I have good intentions though. Look out for our zoo slideshow…sometime in the next couple of years.
