It’s me, slacker mom. Actually, not really. I’ve just been REALLY busy with MumsTheWurd lately. Have you been over there? EXCUSE ME? Here, let me help you out. Just click HERE. Hey, that’s a Hailey-related site so it still counts, right?
Anyway, I’m up late (as usual) and realizing that in 40 minutes (plus like, 17 hours), Hailey will be 22 months old. If you add two months, you get 24. That means she’ll be TWO YEARS OLD (they don’t make them any smarter than me). Unbelievable how fast time flies when you’re doting over your child.

Here we have a make-shift cruiser made from a Cruisers box. We’re so original. Nothing like making crafts on a rainy weekend, right? She had a load of fun being pulled around the house in this.
The wheels keep on turning in that big little head of hers and she’s spewing out more and more words/sentences every day. At this point, we know when we ask her a question, we’re going to get a pretty good answer. Just tonight, Eric asked her what she was watching and she replied, “watching George”. She didn’t even bat an eye or turn her head. Just kept right on watching. I’m loving this. The only scary thing about it is, the more she talks, the closer we’re getting to…the parent/kid battles. YIKES.

Anyway, for the past few days, we’ve been doing a lot of hanging out. Over the weekend Eric and his mini me, I mean Hailey, were watching the Cubs game together. Click the picture and check out their expressions. Like father, like daughter. Hailey seemed to enjoy watching the Cubs play the St. Louis Cardinals Ducks. You can’t see it but that’s her super cute Cubs jersey she’s wearing. Just wait until you see what we have in store for Bears season…

What you see here are animals with “coats on”. When the princess says, “coats on” we put the coats on. These fine coats are made from the most expensive and luxurious material you can find. It’s called Play Doh. We here at the factory have found that you can mix together yellow and pink Play Doh to make simply stunning colors like what you see in this picture. These animals are sure to stay warm in the barn this winter. By the way, anyone know where we can get a barn? Our house is just getting way too crowded with all of these animals hanging around.

Nice coats….It goes by crazy fast. Crazy.MY babies start 3rd and kindergarten tomorrow. Which is, you know, impossible, because they’re just BABIES.
Go Cards! :) Had to do it.
