Well, that’s it for me! I’m now off to Tinley Park to join Eric at the Van’s Warped Tour. Several of my favorite bands are playing and we received free tickets and press/photo passes, so this is also something that I don’t want to miss out on.
I’ve had a WONDERFUL time at BlogHer ’07! I’ve met so many people. I can’t wait to get home and start checking out all of the new blogs I’ve learned about. Oh, check out all of the STUFF that I brought home from the conference! So many fun things and great information to look through.
Here is a list of some of the sponsors at this year’s conference:
12:00pm
It’s time for lunch and I signed up to have lunch with an AOL Body Lifestyle Coach. I chose the AOL Kids & Family Coach, Kathy Peel. Kathy has a book out called “Desperate Households” (we’ll be giving away a copy of Kathy’s book over at MumsTheWurd very soon!). She is a breast cancer survivor and is her family’s manager. She’s here to help us better manage our family time. So far, she’s offering very helpful information.
She is so passionate about this subject matter. Yet another book I need to get into right away! Today’s buffet was sponsored by AOL and was 100 TIMES better than yesterday’s lunch! I should be a food blogger or something.
10:30am
I’m now in my first session of day two, “Messing with your default blog template”. I’m ALWAYS trying to find fun, new templates to use for my blogs. I’ve played around with the templates enough times now that I’m becoming very familiar with the blogger “lingo”. Krystyn Jones is leading this session and I think she’s doing a great job of pointing out some key information on padding and margins within a template, something I often have trouble with. I am asking a zillion questions! Look forward to maybe some MORE changes to Hailey’s blog after I research all of the fantastic helpful websites that Krystyn is sharing with us.
10:15am
Time to head upstairs to the first session! First, MJ and I stopped at the Scrapblog booth in the giveaway area to have our picture taken:
Then, we stopped by the Yahoo! Internet Cafe’ for espresso drinks and I was able to meet one of the authors of the book “Mommy Guilt”. I’m very anxious to start reading this book!

8:00am

It is Day Two of the BlogHer 07 and I was here with bells on at 8:00 am sharp. The breakfast buffet this morning was FABULOUS. Much better than yesterday. Hopefully that means lunch will be better too. Looking forward to hitting some more sessions today and meeting more fantastic people. I’ve already met some this morning. I met another favorite blogger of mine, Shannon from Rocks in My Dryer. She just ran that awesome giveaway carnival, the one where we are giving away a pound of Starbucks beans. I have yet to pick a winner.
But I digress. Today should prove to be another incredible day full of lots of networking. I will be live blogging again all day today. I plan on leaving the conference a little earlier today, however, to meet up with Eric at an outdoor concert on the southside of the city.
Here are a few shots from the keynote breakfast this morning:

I was wondering if you’d meet up with Shannon! Yay!Steph

I’m sorry I didn’t get to see you yesterday… so many people, so little time. Hope to see you soon, though.
It was great to meet you, mama! I am so impressed by your thorough BlogHer blogging. I’m to tired to even post!
