I hear ya! It has become the more frustrating time of our day. If you come up with any solutions…please pass them along! Right now, I put ketchup (reduced sugar) on most everything.
seriously, how can a 20 month old actually “stick her nose up” at food? what does she know? : )joanne…yepper. those are from the big bag ‘o tots that BARELY fit in our freezer! ha!
Yeah, we’ve hit a few mealtime snags with some hurled food. Not a pretty sight… And it’s never predictable… Today we LOVE hot dogs, and tomorrow we will SHUN them!
yeah, same here. totally normal. sometimes i cannot keep enough food in the house for my little eating machine, and other times i swear she doesn’t eat a balanced meal for a month! go figure!my mom tells me, “if she’s hungry, she’ll eat.” she said she struggled with me and my brother for years before figuring it’s a losing battle… she finally figured, well… it’s not like we’re gonna starve ourselves.but i especially like when georgia tells me, mommy, my belly’s full. (next sentence) can i have cookies? ha! and i’m like “SHA! RIGHT!”
no idea why eating is such a friggin nightmare…we have the same issues, from not wanting to be in the high chair, to not eating, to throwing food on the floor, then giving mommy the “what are you going to do about it?” look. maybe hailey is scared of eric’s skull shirt. :P
hayden is definitely getting better…but she still won’t eat potatoes in any form except for french fries!!! and she takes all breading off everything!!elliott is totally in the I WANT ALL FOOD RIGHT NOW stage!! he eats 3 times more than hayden! I haven’t given him anything that he hasn’t eaten either, he loves it.
Are those tots from the GIANT bag I brought to your house a few weeks ago?? BTW, I LOVE the new layout. Looks great.
