It has been just under a year since we’ve been back to the Morton Arboretum. It is such a cool place and I’m so glad we live near it. It is full of beautiful flowers and trees and other plant life from all over the world. The Children’s Garden is the highlight for us. Last year, I posted THIS. It’s hard to believe sometimes how much Hailey has grown. Here is a picture of her, about 11 months ago and one from yesterday, her 19 month birthday:

This visit to the Arboretum was much more fun for her. She played in the water…a lot. That was by far her favorite part. She stomped around in some little ponds, played with the giant musical flowers and crawled around in that ginormous acorn.

My only beef with the Arboretum is that it isn’t free. Otherwise, we would make this a weekly outing.
