We took Hailey to Spring Fest in downtown Plainfield this evening. It was her first festival. Unfortunately, no rides. The carousel was not running and the big jumping things had too many “big kids” in them. I was afraid she’d get smooshed. Instead, she picked a duck out of a pan and won a prize. We opted not to get cotton candy or a funnel cake since it was about bedtime anyway. Gosh, what a boring festival. =) The highlight was meeting the Ericson’s there and the red balloon.
