We took Hailey to the Sunken Garden at Phillip’s Park today. Eric and I visited the Sunken Garden while I was pregnant and I just imagined bringing our baby there after he or she was born. Two years later and we finally had the chance. It was every bit as beautiful as I remembered it to be. It’s a shame we don’t go there more often, it’s really just a hop, skip and a jump down the road from us.

Hailey LOVED it. She really proved her girliness today. She bent down to smell the flowers and frolicked through them…totally like a scene from little house on the prairie.
