I can say, hands down, that my favorite thing ever is spending time with Eric and Hailey. I’m so in love with my little family. I always look forward to our weekends together, especially when it’s nice outside. Since the Riverwalk in Naperville is such a beautiful place, we decided to head there for some playground time and a walk.

We found some time to relax and throw down a blanket at the outdoor amphitheater. It’s basically just several grassy levels where people just sit and read or have a picnic. As soon as I laid out our blanket, Hailey plopped right down and made herself comfy.

I’m just ecstatic about the spring and summer weather that’s coming. It’s going to be a very enjoyable summer with the tot this year. I just want to show her everything. She held dandelions for the first time today and she just couldn’t take her eyes off of them. I’m surprised she didn’t try to eat them. She’ll smell flowers for the first time this year too. She may be six months away from her second birthday but there are still so many “firsts” in store for this little one.
