We spent a good portion of the afternoon department store hopping, in search of a sandbox for Hailey. This particular sandbox will be the “deck sandbox” at Grandpa George and Nana Pat’s house. It will be nice for Hailey to have something to do while the adults lounge on the deck this summer.

I guess we were a bit early in our search because not many stores had sandboxes in stock just yet. So, after we finished our shopping, we headed over to Grandpa G’s for some deck time. We hooked up the girl with her new sandbox and then the neighbor friends came over.

We blew bubbles, played in the sand, cooked out and fully enjoyed this gorgeous spring day.

By the way, Hailey turns into “dude” when she has her sun glasses on. She will say “dude” and then bob her head up and down. She’s so cool.
