A local gymnasium called “GymQuest” has open gym several days of the week. I’ve wanted to take Hailey for some time now but it hasn’t worked out, until today. She had so much fun playing there! We stayed for about an hour. She loved jumping (or “galloping”) on the trampolines. She let me toss her into the pond of foam blocks and she ran around and laughed with all of the kids. She made two new friends and also made a new 4 yr. old friend, who reminded us of our friend, Gabby. I didn’t quite catch her name but she was very eager to help Hailey play.

Hailey did have a bit of a hard time staying up on her feet today. I think the more we go, the more confident she will become and she’ll be swinging on the bar above the foam block pond in no time.

before we left i was eyeballing those cute little gymnastic outfits! i think we’re going to have to break down and purchase one for next week’s gymquest adventure!she liked it when i helped her do somersaults and when she was sitting up on the horse. i think we may have a future gymnast on our hands!
if she is a future gymnast, don’t let her head get all disproportional from her body…and don’t let that russian guy be her instructor!!! lol
we are SO in for a trip to gymquest.
it’s so nice having a HUGE room (with closed doors) that your child can just roam free and you don’t have to stay on their heels.
