I purchased a “potty” yesterday for Hailey. I figured since she can tell us when she’s about to go “poo poo”, that I should take this opportunity to “introduce” her to the potty. She only realized there was this extra seating arrangement in the bathroom this morning. I wasn’t planning on pushing her with the potty. I was merely planning on leaving it in plain view for her. She decided that we shouldn’t leave it IN the bathroom, that it should sit outside of the bathroom door so she could play with it thoroughly inspect it. There was much conversation around this new seating arrangement, none of which I could decipher.

After the inspection (i.e. putting books, toys and feet in the potty), she finally figured out that you “sit” on the potty and for even more fun, you can READ on the potty.
