Hailey celebrates her 15 month birthday today. Wow…I feel like just yesterday she turned one. Time sure does fly when you have a little one around.

Today was also her first “Tot Rock” class at the community center. She did exceptionally well and really seemed to enjoy the activities and liked the instructor, Miss. Laura.

The kids started out playing on the “flat” piano. What a cool thing! Hailey loved sitting there, pushing on the keys. She even got some beats going for the other kids.

Miss. Laura brought out “Rocket” the hand puppet dog.

Well, Hailey just LOVED Rocket! She was mesmerized by him. She absolutely loved it when Rocket played peek-a-boo with her.

We sang some songs and had some structured play and then we were off for some free playtime. Hailey played with the tambourines and balls and we were also able to get better acquainted with Rocket.

The class ended with us sitting in a circle again and singing some songs. We’ll be looking forward to this class each Monday.
