Today would mark the “first” day of Hailey independently “toddling”. Several times today, she has ventured off of the couch and over to her toys or a kitty without us prompting her to “come to mommy or come to daddy”. I think she had the tv remote in one hand each time. Maybe she thinks it helps her balance? I don’t know but we are pretty darn excited about this milestone! Go hailey!

Another thing worth noting; she has this little Fisher Price “Hoop”. I bought it for her around 6 months because I thought that might make her daddy happy. Anyway, today is actually the first day she knew to put the ball through the hoop. I was thrilled. I’m sure daddy will be too.
