Eric, Hailey and I took a little drive to a neighboring suburb yesterday to enjoy the gorgeous day. We went to a little art festival and had lunch outside. It was a peaceful day. We took some photos by the river and the fountain.

A quick update on Miss. Hailey. Over the last two days, she has shown signs of the beginning stages of crawling. Don’t get too excited! She’s just getting up on her knees. Hey, everyone has to start somewhere, right? She seems to prefer walking us around the house anyway. The race is on…will it be walking or crawling first? Your guess is as good as ours.

Today was a “teether day” as we’ve been known to call them. These are the days when the little princess does not want to be bothered. We caught a peek and the two top side teeth are making their way out of the gums. Very shortly, she will have SIX teeth! Wow!
