Happy eight months, little girl!  This really has been an eventful month. We’ve had rolling over, two teeth popping through and a third on it’s way, babbling, eating “crunchy” foods, trying different kinds of solids, going to amusement parks, parks, and playgroups among many other things!

The start of summer has proved to be a fun one! Hailey is a joy to take out. She’s been “swimming” in her baby pool and seems to really enjoy herself in there. We haven’t made it to a big pool yet but hope to sometime soon.

We’ve been enjoying our time as a family, as well. It’s been tough to find the time to do that with Eric’s school schedule but we’re managing. Hailey really looks forward to seeing her daddy come home from work or school. I’ve never seen such a big smile on a little girl!

We’ve been practicing getting up on hands and knees. She can’t seem to keep her knees up under her. Could have something to do with those chubby baby thighs of hers. We’ve also been practicing standing up against the couch. She hasn’t figured out how to move her feet yet to start cruising the furniture but I have a feeling that is coming really soon.
