We had a nice Mother’s Day weekend. Friday night we went to dinner with Eric’s brother, his fiance’, Kelly and a couple of her friends.  Hailey tried to drink my margarita:

Saturday, we spent the day with Eric’s grandparents. They LOVE to see Hailey. They’ve had a very rough year so far and bringing a smile to their faces made us feel pretty good. She was on her best behavior, as usual.

The little peanut is cutting her first tooth.

I’m excited about it. I love it when new things happen with her. She is, however, pretty uncomfortable with it all. You can feel the sharp little tooth, so hopefully it doesn’t take much longer to come through. I first really noticed it last Thursday. I’m not sure how long it takes for those little suckers to pop but I can’t imagine it will be much longer.

Eric surprised me with a gift for Mother’s Day. He gave me a gift card to Borders! This is very cool, since I’m now really getting into reading. I’m going to save it until I figure out what kind of books I’m really into. Speaking of reading, I’m going to do that right now while I have a few minutes to myself.
