Hailey has shown so much improvement over the last couple of days. As a matter of fact; she is acting like a completely strong, new baby. She’s now grabbing at our faces, trying to roll and she’s as happy and active as ever. I just can’t believe everything she has been through in the past three weeks…everything WE have been through. My mind and body are still exhausted. Eric is finally feeling better, he ended up getting sick on Saturday evening. It’s unbelievable how contagious this virus is. I can only hope and pray that what we just went through is it for a while. We need a good, healthy break.

On a side note…I have never had so many caring friends. I’ve met some wonderful new people lately and the outpouring of thoughts and concerns over us and our little one has been overwhelming. I don’t know how to handle such generosity. I’m usually the one who is giving to others. Now, the tables have turned and I don’t know how to express my gratitude. It makes me feel so good to know that there are people out there that care so much. It really does make a difference when you have someone that you can count on to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on. Thank you, you have made my days brighter.
