Today, Hailey stayed in her crib until 7:00 am. She fussed a little before that but kept falling back asleep. Got her up, fed her, played a little and she went down for a nap. She started napping in her crib today instead of the pack-n-play bassinet in the living room. We want her to get used to one place to sleep. Normally, she only naps for a half hour. Today, her three main naps lasted about 45 minutes each in her crib (one at 8:45 am, 11:45 am, 5:30 pm.)

She squealed a lot more today and had fun talking to mommy and daddy. She told daddy all about her adventures. We assembled her Exersaucer while she laid on the floor and talked to the baby on the box. I placed her play keys in her hand and she had fun shaking them around. She seemed to enjoy the fact that she could make them make noise.

The last couple of days, she seems to get really upset just before her feedings but it doesn’t last too long, as long as we feed her asap.

Hailey just finished her last bottle for the evening, 5 oz., and she will be getting a bath at 8:15 pm and then, if she’ll tolerate it, I’ll read her a story or two before putting her down to bed. Goal is to get her in bed by about 8:30 pm.
