Today, mommy and I had a VERY busy day. I went to the doctor today and found out that I weigh 8 lbs. 10 oz. WOW! I’d better go on a diet! Just kidding. Mommy thinks it’s fabulous that I’ve gained so much weight. She was also thinking about how much different it would have been to have me on my actual due date, which was November 23rd, just one week ago.

After my doctor appointment, we met up with mommy’s friend Sarah and my friend, Gillian. I was so excited to meet Gillian, even though I didn’t really give her the time of day. I will, soon enough. Mommy and Sarah had coffee and I had formula and then we went to lunch where I didn’t get anything to eat. You see, I don’t have teeth yet and haven’t the slightest clue how to actually “eat”.

Mommy also had her doctor’s appointment today and I got a little fussy in the exam room, so the nice nurse, Mitzi, scooped me up to show me off to the rest of the office staff. Gosh, I really LOVE the attention!

Grandma Barb will babysit me on Saturday night while mommy and daddy go out for a MUCH NEEDED night out. I’m glad they’re going out, I just want them to be happy.
